Meet the Founder

Greetings and Namaste!

Hi, I’m Alyson 

Welcome to The Yoga Barre! I created this space to combine two of my biggest passions—yoga and barre—into an empowering experience that strengthens not just your body but your entire being. With over 15 years of teaching yoga and movement, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is to step onto the mat or hold onto the barre and rediscover your strength, balance, and confidence.

My journey started as a competitive gymnast, where I learned the value of discipline, alignment, and flow. Later, yoga found me when I needed it most, offering healing, growth, and the space to reconnect with who I truly am. Barre came next—a perfect complement to yoga—giving me a new way to build strength and push boundaries while staying connected to movement and grace.

At The Yoga Barre, I blend the physical and the spiritual, the sweat and the stillness. Whether you’re flowing through Vinyasa or powering through a barre series, every class is designed to challenge you, inspire you, and help you tap into the strongest version of yourself.

This isn’t just about fitness. It’s about transformation, community, and finding your edge while feeling completely supported. My hope is that you leave every class feeling stronger, more grounded, and totally aligned with the badass that you are.

Classes Offered 

BARRE

Pulse & Power 45

Ready to slay? Pulse & Power is 45 minutes of feel-good burn that’ll have your muscles shaking and your confidence soaring. We’re talking tiny pulses, powerful moves, and beats that’ll keep you fired up the entire time.

This class is all about turning up the intensity while keeping it fun. You’ll pulse, hold, and push through every challenge—because that’s where the magic (and the booty lift) happens. Expect to sweat, sculpt, and leave feeling like the badass you are.

Barre Fusion

When yoga flow meets barre burn—you get Barre Fusion. This 45-minute class blends the best of both worlds: the strength and precision of barre with the breath and flow of yoga. Think small, powerful movements mixed with dynamic stretches that leave you feeling strong, flexible, and totally in your flow.

We’ll pulse, plank, and stretch it out in a full-body workout that sculpts your muscles and boosts your balance—all while keeping your mind grounded and your energy high.

Burn at the Barre – Heated 

This 45-minute full-body sweat session takes barre to the next level with a heated room (90–95°F) designed to challenge your strength, endurance, and focus. Expect to pulse, tuck, and tone every inch of your body while sweating out the stress and leveling up your fitness game.

With small, targeted movements and power-packed sequences, Burn at the Barre is all about building strength, sculpting muscles, and pushing past your limits—while the heat deepens your stretch and boosts your results.

YOGA

Vinyasa Flow

Our Vinyasa Flow class is a dynamic, breath-driven practice that seamlessly links movement with breath, creating a fluid flow of energy throughout the body. Through a series of creative sequences, you'll build strength, increase flexibility, and improve balance while staying grounded in the present moment. This class is designed to challenge your body and calm your mind, offering a powerful combination of movement, breath, and mindfulness. Perfect for those seeking an energizing yet restorative experience.

Slow Flow

We slow down the Vinyasa Flow so that you can feel into your body, build muscle and let go of stress. All levels welcome 

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a deeply restorative practice that focuses on long-held, passive stretches designed to target the connective tissues, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia. Unlike more dynamic forms of yoga, Yin invites you to slow down, surrender, and release tension in a gentle, mindful way. Poses are held for several minutes, allowing for deep relaxation and a meditative state, helping to improve flexibility, joint health, and overall energy flow.

This class is perfect for anyone looking to balance the intensity of active workouts or simply unwind and rejuvenate. With an emphasis on breath and stillness, Yin Yoga helps calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote a profound sense of inner peace. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to yoga, this practice provides the perfect space to restore your body and reconnect with your mind.

Power Flow Heated

Strong, sweaty, and soulful—Power Flow is a high-energy Vinyasa class that builds strength, flexibility, and focus. Flow through powerful sequences that challenge your body and ignite your spirit. Expect to sweat, move with purpose, and leave feeling unstoppable. 

I am immensely grateful to Alyson  for guiding me on this transformative yoga journey. Her teachings have enriched my life in countless ways, and I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone seeking empowerment, growth, and self-discovery through yoga.
